February is going to be a fun and exciting month at school! We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day with classroom activities and a special art expo at pick-up, and throughout the month the children will enjoy many themed learning days. We’ll start by recognizing National Wear Red Day, cheering for the Super Bowl with jersey day, and having a cozy Teddy Bear Day where children can bring their favorite stuffed friend.

Later in the month, we will celebrate Chinese New Year by wearing red, complete a hands-on cooking project, and take part in International Pet Day by bringing photos of our pets. We are also excited to welcome a visiting veterinarian to speak with the children and to host our Parents Story Time, where one parent per class can come read to the students. We will end the month with a fun Crazy Superhero Day.

Please remember that the school will be closed on Presidents Day. We look forward to a wonderful month full of learning, creativity, and special activities for the children.
